Little Bunnies!

So poor little Beckham has finished his 5th antibiotic, and the ear infections cleared up, but still left fluid behind again. So the infections will be back, and when they are we will go see a specialist about tubes. His left ear drum also ruptured, so he has been having a hard time. He also has new teeth coming in. He's up to 7 now, with 3 more on the move. He is so active! He has started cruising on furniture. And he will let go of things to stand for a second or two. I want him to slow down!

Katie has been obsessed with her "princess" dress lately. She does not want to take it off. Ever. She wore it to a carnival, chuck e cheese, grocery store, and Red robin. Sleeping, waking, every second. I did manage to get it from her, with some kicking and screaming (from her) to wash it the other day. It is about time to steal it again. As you can see in the picture, she wears her regular clothes underneath. Some of you may be thinking, "well, aren't you the boss of her?" Which technically I am, yes. I, however, choose my battles with Katie wisely. She is a first rate rascal. She is by for the most fiesty (which really means bratty) of my kids. She is really giving me a run for my money, which is already in short supply. She is just so stubborn! (me tearing my hair out, while scratching my eyes out in frustration!) She is also the sweetest too. How does that work out? Split personalities? Well, wish me luck!

Okay, Beckham is SO adorable! Well, they all are. I think we all have that 'one' child we want to beat but they are saved by being or saying something so cute.

Looks like Easter was fun, but your poor little one! That is no fun being sick!! Good luck with his ears!

Your kids are super cute. Poor Beckham, I hope he is feeling better for you.

The princess dress thing is too cute. When Joseph was little he wore (don't worry, it wasn't a princess dress) a pair of motorcycle goggles wherever we went. He usually wore them on top of his head. I have pictures at the store, the zoo, etc. I figure, if it makes them happy, why not?

Those are some very cute bunnies. If I could get away with it I'd probably wear a princess dress every day too. :)

I say yes for tubes - all of my kids except for Evan have had tubes and their ear infections disappeared after they got them.

Hmmm....Katie sounds a lot like Max. Except without the princess dress.

Just so you know this is Devin's wife! Your kids are adorable! I don't know how you do it having them all so close together! I am glad you found our blog, Devin has been wanting you to see a picture of our sweet baby Meghan! Sorry to see that your kids have been so sick! Poor Beckham, I know how he feels I've had my ear drums rupture 3 times. Not fun! Good luck with school! Exciting that you are close to being done!

Your kids are so cute Michelle! I can't believe how old Beckham is getting - so cute! I totally understand the feistiness you are talking about with Katie. I know Ella is not as old as her, but I swear the moment they are born, that stubborness comes right out! I'm glad to hear other moms have this struggle - sometimes I feel like I am the only one with a feisty kid!

I vote yes for tubes. Kids who had chronic ear infections are classic candidates for speech therapy. I would advise giving him a little extra attention with sound development and language. Not that he'll need therapy, Dan (my brother) spent his young adult life with ear infections and didn't need anything, but just in case.

As far as Katie goes, it could be so much worst than a princess dress! I think she looks dashing.

Yeah for Michelle! Making aprons!
