My little Becky

Here's Becky, or Beckham as a crossdresser. He was naked and cold, and it was too tempting to grab Katie's dress and put it on him. He had a run in with the corner of a dresser. Ouch!

Proud Army Sister!

O.k I want to give a shout out (yes I just said that) to all the awesome men and women serving in our military. (even the coast guard!) Especially to my favorite military personel, my brothers. As many of you are aware, I have 5 of 7 brothers currently serving in the army or amry national guard. My 6th brother, Travis, will be joining in a week or so. I can't even express how proud and thankful I am to these great men. Two of my brothers have served in Irag, with one still being there. To see my brothers leaving their wives and children behind for Iraq, or for their various training and drill and such, is so inspiring and heartbreaking at the same time. To miss your childs first steps, first words, moving young families across the country away from any and all family. I can't imagine these sacrifices. Whether you agree with the war or our nations' leaders' and their policies, there is no doubt that our military personel are sacrificing greatly for us, wherever they are. I love running into soldiers at the store and such. I am sure they think I'm crazy when I come up and start asking them questions. I try to use as much of the cool lingo that I've picked up as possible. The soldiers are great and all, but let's not forget who made them possible. That would be the mothers' and fathers and spouses. My parents and my sis-in-laws are also heros to me. They sacrifice much in supporting their soldiers. I just wanted to say thank you to my brothers, their wives, and their children for their willingness to serve. I am proud of them, and humbled by their examples. My greatest wish is to join and serve with them, but that isn't possible for me at this time. So, I am a crazy, rambling person, and if you see a soldier- Thank them! Hooah!

Happy Birthday to Beckham!

O.k so it was Beck's first b-day yesterday! He is such a big boy. He is close to walking full-time and is slowing getting his molars. (oh fun) He can say a few words. I know you don't believe me but he says: momma and dadda, hello, cracker, quack, and ear. Now, cracker and quack sound pretty similar but he uses them in the correct situation. He loves talking on the phone, following his big sisters around, and eating! He is such a happy little guy, with a huge smile.

He is always getting into something, and has recently been throwing tantrums when he doesn't get his way. Which is cute, for now. I can't believe he is already one year! It went by so fast. He loves eating pretty much anything, especially if it is what I am eating. He loves peppered beef jerky. Crazy I know!

He is such a boy. I can't believe how different he is from the girls. Very mischevious. Not that the girls aren't, but he is just on a different level. He heads for exactly where he shouldn't be the second he gets a chance. He is always climbing on or under things and getting stuck. He is a master at getting through all my barricades. Such a cute little rascal! I love my little Hammy!

Not for the faint of heart!

Ok this post will have some "gruesome" photographic content. So here's the story. Both the girls have their ears pierced. Sami was sitting with Aaron tonight and he looked behind her ear to see if her skin was dry, and thought her earring looked kind of weird. So I took a look, and was pretty distressed by what I saw. The post was bent, the back was on crooked, and her ear had grown to almost completely cover the back of the earring. It was all crusty, and red and swollen. I simply could not believe that she hadn't said anything about it. So basically the problem was that the back of the earring got pushed on past the catch on the post, and the post got bent. Then her ear basically ate the back. Ouch. It looked so painful and horrible. She was such a trooper as I tried to get the earring off. I got the earring off and put it in the trash, and she started crying cause she really liked her dolphin earring. Well, then I noticed a faint dolphin shape being carved into the front of her ear lobe. So here's pictures. Sorry there is no pic of it with the earring still in, I was concerned about getting it off at the time. Although, I wish I had taken one now. These pictures really don't do it justice?.? It really was horrible. So hopefully it will heal without closing completely. So check your girls ears if they are pierced!

Red, white and blue fun!

So I figured it's been a month again since I posted. Well, we've just been having too much fun! This last week my sis-in-law Jennie invited us to a get-together at Hollywood Connections. It's a fun place that has a merry-go-round, a roller coaster and a few other rides, also laser tag, mini golf and a skating rink. It was for army families and such, so they wanted the kids to wear red, white and blue and they had a parade for the kids. We had a lot of fun and had some tasty cake! Thanks to Jennie for the invite and thanks to all our soldiers! Also, in this picture is my neice, Megan.

And this is what the girls looked like on the way home....

We are alive!

Ok so you are all wondering what happened to me... I hope. Well we moved and are living in Utah now. We have been busy having fun! The kids love having a yard to play in and getting to see their cousins. Aaron and I got to go to L.A. We went with my brother Derek, and my sis-in-law Janel. We left the kids with my parents and my two sister-in-laws. Then we flew to L.A on Friday and Derek and Janel drove from AZ and met us there. We played at six flags on sat and came home sunday. It was so much fun! It was a nice break from the chilluns, although I must say that I missed them.

Well, the kids have been sick again. Sami and Katie had strep throat last week, and Katie also had an ear infection. Beckham ended up getting tubes put in last month. He's had two more sets of ear infections since then, so I'm not sure if it helped?!? Hopefully it'll start getting better. He has 8 teeth with two more on the way. And he will be a year in July! Man that went fast!

Aaron finished his first week at his internship here, and he is enjoying it so far. We are doing well, and enjoying being around so much family. I will be better at adding stuff from now on!
